What we do

Piggie Paradise is our new purpose built hotel. We have hand built spacious indoor hutches, all of which are 7ft long and 2ft wide and suitable for up to four guinea pigs.

We have hand built spacious indoor hutches, all of which are 7ft long and 2ft wide and suitable for up to four guinea pigs. Each hutch has its own spacious hidey end that is full of fresh hay and lined with paper bedding which is changed daily, they also have plenty of toys and enrichment games.

The hutches are not in direct sunlight, and we provide plenty of ventilation to ensure your guinea pigs have a comfortable stay. We have air conditioning in the summer months and heating in the winter months. We also use ice pods and snuggle safes if needed.

Alexa plays music during the day to help your guinea pigs relax, normally gold radio if Karen is in charge and so that they are always hearing a human voice.

We supply burgess Excel nuggets or Science Selective, fresh veggies, dried forage and hay daily. Fresh water is provided daily.

All piggies have use of their very own 7ft run on the grass in the warm dry weather. In these runs they will have toys, hides and shade. No Guinea pigs are left outside unattended.

We are now taking bookings for Christmas 2023!

Please book your little ones in early to avoid disappointment. All guinea pigs will have use of there own 7ft run from throughout the day as Karen is home nearly all day now.

Accommodation

We have hand built suites that are all housed within Piggie Paradise. These are insulated against cold and heat and fully predator proof providing safe and secure accommodation for your fur babies. Each suite has plenty of room for single or family occupancy. There is also a shelf in each suite so that the piggies can relax and chill out using all of the space in their area. When it's playtime, we have 7ft outdoor secure runs on hard standing which are used during the day for exercise and play (if you prefer that your pet does not go outside, please state so on your booking form). We provide toys for your pet to keep them amused, however, if your little ones have a toy they that love, feel free to bring it along with them, at the end of the day it's their there holiday too! Dinner time and, yes, the most popular time here it seems; they all receive fresh hay and vegetables and Excel nuggets. However, we ask that you supply your guinea pigs dry food if they are on something different as we do not want to upset there tummies.

Health and Hygiene

All of our suites are thoroughly disinfected between visits. Each suite is cleaned out every day or more if necessary for the duration of your little ones stay. Your pet should also be in good health and free from any kind of mite, so treating them for this prior to boarding is advisable. We are fully insured, however this does not cover pre-existing conditions.
